The two supporting clubs of UMCvEC 2023 are Institution of Civil Engineers Universiti Malaya Student Chapter (ICEUMSC) and Civil and Environmental Engineering Club (CEEC). The goal of this competition is to allow students to apply their understanding of concrete design to the construction of a concrete bowling ball using a variety of materials. Furthermore, this competition enables competitors to express their ideas and operate as a team. Students will receive fresh hands-on experience in evaluating and selecting materials and their respective proportions to fullfill weight restrictions, optimum strength, and toughness of concrete through this competition.
